Telephone:

The phones within the facilities including the ones in the rooms cannot be used for making local or long distance calls. They are for internal use only.

There are two pay phones next to the reception alongside the corridor at the Guest House which you can use to make such calls using your credit card or the pay phone cards available at the city center and the PTT Office.

Please consult with the reception to know where the closest PTT Office is.

You may receive calls to your rooms. Please consult with the reception to know the phone number in your room.

Security:

TADOC lies in a secure campus. Please keep your room locked while you are out and leave the keys at the reception.

Please note that we do not assume any kind of responsibility for the lost or stolen items and assets.

Health Issues:

In case of any injury or illness please contact your course coordinator.

There are first aid kits available at both of the receptions.

TADOC will ensure that you receive appropriate immediate treatment if need be however any cost incurred for the medication and treatment has to be borne by yourself as TADOC doesn't have any funding possibilities for that purpose.

It is anticipated that participants have their own health insurance while they are in Turkey. TADOC will not cover any medication or treatment expenses that can occur while you are in Turkey.

If the health condition of a participant doesn't allow him/her to go on with the training, s/he is sent back to his/her country if s/he is able to travel.

Fire Alarm:

A reliable fire alarm system is installed in TADOC. If you hear the alarm ringing, use the fire exit at each level at the right hand side of corridor and gather at the car park. Do not use elevators.

Because the fire alarm system is very much sensitive, please do not smoke within the buildings including your rooms.

Participation:

Participation in all lessons is compulsory.

For whatever reason, a participant who does not participate in 1/10 of the whole session shall be dismissed from the course. Also the dismissal shall be reported to the relevant authorities of the participant officially in writing.

If for an excusable reason a participant can not attend to a class the course coordinator should be notified.

Clothing:

Participants wear appropriate attire while attending TADOC training activities. It is anticipated that participants do not wear slipper and shorts excepts in their rooms.

Course Action:

Participants are required to be punctual in attending classes.

Participants are required to notify the course coordinator in a timely manner if there will be a scheduling conflict.

Students are required to attend not less than 90% of the scheduled classes in a given course in order to successfully complete that course.

Eating and drinking is not allowed in the classroom. Participants will turn off mobile phones in the classroom. All telephone conversations will take place outside of the classroom, and only during class breaks.

Smoking:

It is not allowed to smoke inside the premises of TADOC except the roof cafe.

Computer – Internet:

There is a computer with internet connection in your room.

Two computers for student use are located in library located at the training facility of TADOC. With regard to computer use, participants are not allowed to change passwords, install software, download programmes, or access inappropriate websites on the Internet. Students are not authorised to use the computers in the TADOC staff offices.

There is also a cable TV in your room.

Meals:

Breakfast, lunch and diner will be given at the restaurant of TADOC guest house's 1st floor.

Breakfast : 07:30 a.m. – 08:30 a.m.

Lunch : 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Diner : 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Please inform reception if you are to eat outside.

Tea&Coffee:

Hot beverages are free of charge for the participants of a given course at TADOC.

Currency Exchange:

You can use credit cards in most of the shopping malls or restaurants. You can exchange your currency in exchange offices and banks in town.

Cleaning and Ironing:

Please put your clothes inside the bag in your room and put it on your bed. Please write your room number and your desire about the cloth. There is not a dry cleaning facilty at TADOC.

Underwears and your jackets can not be accepted to be washed.

Please leave the dirty towels on the floor.

Your rooms are being cleaned every day.

Hot water is available 24 hours a day.

Sports and Fitness:

There is a fitness room at the (-)2 floor of TADOC guest house. There are also a sports saloon and an artificial football field next to TADOC building.

Roof Cafe:

You can rest in the roof cafe along with a picturesque view of Ankara city. This is the only place that you can smoke inside the building of TADOC.

There is the opportunity to watch films or sports activities with a projection on the wall.

Postal Service:

You can send or receive mails or cargo while you are at TADOC. Please use the address of TADOC written on contact information.

Please write down your room number with your name on your post.

Ticket Bookings and Changes:

Please inform your course coordinator about your departure date and hour. Transfer to the airport will be supplied by TADOC.

TADOC can not confirm your flight reservastions and reschedule departure flights or make other changes to your flight Schedule. Please inform your course coordinator about any changes about your departure date and hour.
